De Yoga House - a space to mend, love and grow.
My name is XiaoJing, I am a yoga teacher and wellness enthusiast. Yoga saved my life. When I was 14 years old I fell off the equivalent of 3 floors, landed on my back and fractured my spine. The doctors feared I would never walk again. I spent weeks lying in bed and when I first attempted to get up I could barely stand, the pain was so intense. I was stubborn, so I did not give up. I kept trying and I was able to stand for one minute then two minutes. As soon as I could take one step it felt like victory! However, the weakness of my lower back was a constant nightmare.
Not long after, I was introduced to yoga. I was immediately drawn to it. I got stronger and after a month of diligent practice, I could walk without the brace. I was too young to understand the deeper aspects of yoga like mindfulness and inner growth, but I was encouraged by the increased strength. This experience ignited my passion for yoga and since then I have devoted my life to studying yoga and sharing its transformative power with others.
Yoga is my craft, yoga is my passion. Through yoga I offer my students and trainees a safe space to love, mend, and grow both on and off the mat. I have over 18 years of teaching experience. I bring ancient yoga traditions and wisdom into my classes and training to help students cultivate a deep connection with their bodies and minds.
I believe in continuous learning, and I am always exploring trainings to deepen my own knowledge to enhance my own practice as well as my teaching.
Courses I have attended include:
I look forward to meet you on the mat soon where together we can deepen our yoga practice and find the satisfaction of living a life filled with joy and fulfilment.
Natasha found yoga in her late 20s, during a time when her body was struggling. She had cervical disc displacement, hip imbalance, and scoliosis. She didn’t come to the mat looking for answers—just some relief. But over time, through steady and mindful practice, something began to shift. Her body slowly regained strength and balance, and with it came a quiet sense of inner clarity and peace. Yoga became more than just physical healing; it became a path of self-discovery.
This transformation wasn’t instant or dramatic, but it was deeply personal. It taught her to listen, to be patient, and to meet herself with kindness. This journey inspired her to teach—not to show what yoga looks like, but to share how it feels. For her, yoga isn’t about mastering poses; it’s about coming home to yourself, one breath at a time.
Wan Yin’s teaching is deeply rooted in the connection between mindful movement, breath, and precise alignment. With a strong foundation in both yoga and Pilates, she brings a unique and intelligent approach to movement that cultivates body awareness, inner stability, and functional strength.
Certified with a 200-hour Yoga Alliance qualification in Hatha Vinyasa Yoga and a trained Pilates instructor, Wan Yin seamlessly weaves her Pilates expertise into her yoga classes. The result is a practice that is both grounding and empowering and encouraging students to move with clarity, intention, and control.
Her Vinyasa sessions offer breath-led, flowing sequences that guide students into a moving meditation, while also building strength, mobility, and postural awareness. With a calm yet confident presence, Wan Yin creates a safe space for students to explore their own experience, refine their practice, and grow from within.
Her classes strike a steady rhythm with just the right balance of challenge and ease, inviting deeper self-connection and offering a transformative experience of yoga that goes beyond the mat.
