The 200 hour Hatha Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Course is designed to train you in several fundamental aspects of yoga including safe practice of the asanas, pranayama, effective teaching methodology and practicum, anotomy and physiology, kriyas, and yoga philosophy.
Course Features:
Asana
Yogis obtain physical health through yoga asanas. How to reduce the troubles of illness and injury can insight, training, and temperance of our minds. And then obtain spiritual peace and relief. Asanas are taught based on Hatha Vinyasa. Let you fully enjoy the freedom of asana practice, and have more space and creative ability to design each yoga class.
Pranayama
Pranayama is like a bridge between body and soul. Yogi may experience the quality of their practice and even the condition of mind and body from breathing. Our course pays great attention to the breathing methods to cooperate with the practice of asanas to achieve a deeper and calmer and then with the breathing method to have a better understanding about yourself to have a clear vision when you are leading a class in future. In addition to understanding the various breathing methods and the scientific background behind them. The teacher will also give you immediate feedback and suggestions based on your teaching, so that you can teach pranayama confidently after graduation.
Anatomy
The anatomy content of this course will never be boring. Coach Shankar will be taking part of the anatomy to the subject of asanas. You can have a better understanding the the phisiology of each asanas. On the contrary, we will show you how to apply these anatomy to actual yoga teaching. To help your students to have a better understanding of their body, and apply it in the asanas and pranayama practice avoiding injured, and enjoy the benefits of yoga practice.
Yoga philosophy
In addition to contemporary asana practice, yoga tradition has multiple and rich aspects. We will tracing up to the source, and discuss different yoga systems, genres, and the teaching and interpretation. At the same time, understand the vivid and vivid myths and realize their symbols and meanings and the insights they trigger. We will glimpse the practical wisdom that is also applicable to modern life in the ancient classics, and let our yoga practice develop into our daily life to have a meaningful life. We are good at bringing philosophy into the small little things in life, and personally make the philosophy curriculum interesting, vivid and meaningful.
Meditation
Meditation is an indispensable part of Hatha Yoga. After learning the spirit of Vipassana, it enters walking meditation and sitting meditation, and further extends to life meditation. You can not only make yourself more settled, but you can also make yourself clearer about your direction and achieve a more in-depth connection between your body and mind.
In addition to daily meditation exercises, the group will gather solid strength and gradually cultivate the habit of meditation.
Sanskrit
The teacher will teach the basic Sanskrit grammar, as well as the pronunciation and meaning of Sanskrit related to asanas and yoga philosophy. Ancient Indian culture believed that the source of the universe was sound. The spiritual tradition emphasizes the recitation of the classics, and its significance lies in raising the level of consciousness.
Hands On Adjustment Skills
Accurate and good adjustments can help students get deeper into the asanas and improve the level of teaching and practice for teachers.
Draw lessons from the advanced concepts and techniques of physical therapy for rehabilitation and adjustment abroad, and combine more scientific and safe adjustment techniques with asanas, so that students can deeply understand the principles of asanas and how to adjust others in asanas quickly and accurately. Make a qualitative breakthrough in self-practice and teaching. Learning safe, delicate, and effective freehand adjustment is an important part of training. Let the students practice continuously until they are familiar with various precise adjustment techniques, so as to avoid injury to other students, and to make the asana easier and more in-depth from the 20 hours internship fulfillment.
Teaching Methodology
Teacher XiaoJing will show you ways to understand the individual or the group you have in front of you for a personalised approach. Knowing how to build flowing, coherent and specifically orientated practices. At the meantime, learn to build practices spontaneously – teaching this way is more respectful towards the student. Being creative according to the needs of your student(s), know how to build practices which can be dynamic or restful or rebalancing etc
During any single practice, move freely between asana, pranayama and meditation. With sensitivity and intelligence, and sound to influence postures and breath, or to aid presence and concentration. understand how to build a practice according to a desired effect – relaxation, awareness, balance. Simplify or intensify any tool on a physical, mental or respiratory level to ensure accessibility and efficacy for all your students, whatever their age and their physical and mental capacities.
Class Sequencing
In this training, layout skills will be taught without reservation. Teachers have the ability to organize a course that is scientific, logical, safe and progressive. Deeply think about the purpose of teaching and the needs of students, practice and arrange 60-90 minutes of courses, and through many simulations and implementations, the theory is transformed into practical knowledge. Suitable for mass teaching and self-practice.
Special Need
In the training, Teacher XiaoJing will be showing you the special conditions, to have your well prepared to face your students with issues. For instance, high and low blood pressure, scoliosis,lordosis, kyphosis, shoulder, cervical and lumbar problems, chronic diseases, weight loss and shaping, etc., learn related pathological anatomy knowledge, and discussion and practice, familiarize with how to cater for the special needs of different groups in yoga practice. Such as giving alternatives and options for your students to protect and improve from injury.
Internship
After completing the training, you are now ready to lead a class through the 20-hour internship. This part of the program will help you to build confidence in teaching and apply the theory and principles you’ve learned in a real classroom setting. Here, you will gain valuable hands-on experience. Once you feel confident, you can arrange a final assessment session with your lead teacher. Upon passing the final assessment, you will have successfully completed the entire training course and receive your yoga instructor certification.
